VEEP undertakes working visit to Lands Ministry

The Vice President of the Republic, Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, has paid an official working visit to the Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources as part of her nationwide engagement with key state institutions.

The Vice President was hosted by the Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, who led a comprehensive briefing on the Ministry’s ongoing reforms, flagship interventions, and the significant progress made in the management of Ghana’s lands, forestry, and natural resources sectors.

The engagement, described as productive and wide-ranging, focused on policy realignments aimed at strengthening transparency, sustainability, and value creation within the sector, while ensuring that Ghana’s natural resources continue to support inclusive national development.

Minister Buah expressed the Ministry’s profound gratitude to the Vice President for her visit and reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to advancing government’s agenda of responsible resource governance.

He noted that the Ministry remains resolute in its mission to position the lands and natural resources sector as a critical driver of economic growth, environmental protection, and long-term national prosperity.
