The statutory regulating body for traditional and Alternative Medicine in Ghana; The Traditional Medicine Practice Council(TMPC) of the Ministry of Health has finally paid a working visit to the Dr. Nyarkotey College Of Holistic Medicine at Tema, Community 7 and Ashaiman campus respectively as part of the final stage of the college accreditation.

[ads1]The visit was to study the college facilities, administration and management of the college and other relevant supervisory and regulatory issues within its legal and regulation framework.
The Accreditation team from the Traditional Medicine Practice Council of the Ministry of Health was led by Annabela; the Director in charge of the educational programs and accreditations at the Ministry of Health. Upon satisfactory with the college from Program accreditation, affiliation agreement with Da Vinci College, provisions of lectures, institutional accreditation and amongst others, graduates from the college would be subjected to write professional qualifying examination conducted by the Traditional Medicine Practice Council of the Ministry of Health as holistic medical Practitioners.
The Dr. Nyarkotey College of Holistic Medicine is affiliated to Da Vinci College of Holistic Medicine, Larnaca city, Cyprus. The college is to start offering professional programs in holistic Medicine in Ghana and Africa. The programs are professional certificate in practice in holistic medicine, Diploma, Bachelor of Science in Holistic Medicine, Master of Science in Holistic Medicine and Doctor of Science in Holistic Medicine. This is the first time a college in Ghana has started such a huge concept to offer such programs in holistic medicine.
