Harvesting Opportunities for Better Healthcare in Ghana
We have donated office equipment worth GHC120,000 to support the setup of the new Medical Tourism Coordinating Office at the Ho Teaching Hospital.
The items include a 4-in-1 workstation, six swivel chairs, two 1.5HP air conditioners, one metal cabinet, two printers, two desktop computers and one laptop. These resources will help create a one-stop Medical Tourism Unit that delivers seamless, high quality healthcare experiences while showcasing Ghana’s hospitality and culture.
During the presentation, Mawuko Afadzinu, our Head of Brand and Marketing, highlighted that strong healthcare systems are essential for national development. He noted that the new centre has the potential to expand specialised care, attract medical tourists and improve patient outcomes.
The Hospital’s Director of Administration, Mr. George Tetteh, received the items on behalf of management and expressed appreciation for the support. He also shared the Hospital’s vision to become a leading medical tourism destination in the sub-region, with plans to introduce new wellness offerings, including a music therapy studio.
Our team later toured the Hospital’s Meditation Garden which houses the new Medical Tourism Office.
