A boat carrying passengers and their belongings on the Volta Lake catches fire, this morning.
The fire started from the boat engine that is said to have been in good shape before they embarked on the journey. The people on-board numbered about 30 passengers and were all journeying to Yeji Makango.
Some of the passengers struggled to escape the boat while the fire was escalating, they cried to God to intervene as the fire kept burning towards the direction they sought safety.
However, two other boat users who were on the Volta Lake came to their aid and salvaged the situation. Their belongings were all conveyed into the two boats that came to save their lives and property.
