National Service Authority posts over 106,000 graduates for 2024/2025 service year

The National Service Authority (NSA) has completed the posting of 106,223 university graduates for the 2024/2025 service year, which is expected to start on Tuesday, October 1, 2024.

According to the authority, this year’s personnel includes “the 2024 batch of Ghanaian graduates from all accredited universities in the country”, as well as, “Ghanaians who have completed studies abroad, defaulters, and private applicants who registered for their national service.”

In a statement signed by Osei Assibey Antwi, Director General of the NSA, the authority stated that it will conduct a mop-up exercise to capture any unassigned personnel.

It further cautioned personnel that “reposting is not permitted” and urged them to “embrace their postings as a vital part of their responsibilities and contributions to national development.”

The NSA stated that validation and registration at all regional centers will begin on Thursday, September 12, 2024, and conclude on Monday, September 30, 2024. It also outlined procedures to help deployed personnel register and check their statuses. These steps are:

  • Check Placement: Log onto the Authority’s website at www.nss.gov.gh to check for placement.
  • Print Appointment Letter: Print the appointment letter and proceed to the place of posting for endorsement of the appointment letter.
  • Book Appointment for Registration: Book an appointment online for the date and time for registration after the endorsement.
  • Complete Registration: Proceed to the assigned Regional Validation and Registration Centre with an endorsed appointment letter and a valid Ghana Card to complete the process.
