The Livingston Foundation is a charity organization established by Stonebwoy and directed by his supportive wife, Dr. Louisa Ansong-Satekla, dedicated to improving the quality of life for the Ghanaian community through education, healthcare, youth empowerment, and advocacy for underserved communities.
According to him, the pain and trauma of being hospitalized for six months after an accident at age 13 was the defining moment that inspired him to establish The Livingston Foundation to help others.
Stonebwoy has reiterated how he had to endure pain and ridicule after the accident that had one of his legs deformed while he and his family were travelling back from Accra to Ashaiman after a visit to his uncle.
He mentioned how the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital (accident ward), a place he stayed for half a year, still holds deep personal memories for him after 23 years.
Being the youngest and smallest at the ward, he described the situation as a tough one while his late mother had to sleep on the floor for 6 months to ensure he is able to overcome the stress.
The Burniton Music Group Chief Executive Officer (CEO) pays a routine visit to the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital’s Accident Centre Ward to spend time with patients and staff.
He shares words of encouragement and hope, while ensuring food is provided and all outstanding medical bills are settled through The Livingston Foundation.
