“My Husband Wants a Divorce After My Viral Video With Russian Man” – Victim Cries

Selima, one of the many Ghanaian women who were part of the sex scandal by Russian adult content creator Yaytse Slav, has come out to clear the air on her part of the scandal.

According to her, there was no intimacy between them, though the Russian tried to make advances on him, which she boldly refused.

Speaking to US-based Ghanaian TikToker Naana Donkoh Arthur (NDA), Selima described how the viral video has put her marriage in jeopardy, considering the fact that she has a child with her husband.

In an emotional demeanor, she swore with her life that nothing happened and the videos online were manipulated to fit his narrative.

“As at now he wants a divorce because with all the shame he can’t contain. I told my madam everything, and she is aware because she is a woman as well. There is no way I will lie about this and come out to say I had sex with him,” she said.

She stressed that her intentions of following the potential client (Russian) were purely business because she was a real estate agent and not because she agreed to his proposal.

“I am a real estate agent and have scheduled a meeting with a client at the mall, but the client did not show up despite me waiting for several minutes. While there, I was approached by a Russian man, during which I mentioned that I work in real estate. He requested my contact details, which I shared. He later expressed interest in real estate and invited me to his apartment to continue the discussion. However, upon arrival, the conversation shifted from anything professional, so I chose to leave immediately. Nothing occurred between us. The videos online are edited and are being manipulated to fit his narrative,” Selima added.

The government has begun moves to extradite a Russian national accused of secretly recording and publishing intimate videos of Ghanaian women online, with the Minister for Communications, Digital Technology, and Innovation, Samuel Nartey George, declaring that the suspect will face the full force of Ghana’s laws.

Speaking during an interview at the launch of the Horlap Innovation Experience, Mr. George described the alleged conduct as a criminal offense under Ghanaian legislation and warned that the unauthorized recording and distribution of private content would not be tolerated.
