A devastating shooting incident occurred in Krofrom, Ashanti Region, leaving a 27-year-old mobile money vendor, Patricia Nimako, dead.
The tragic event unfolded when armed robbers attacked the victim, making off with a staggering GH¢10,000 and several mobile phones.
According to eyewitnesses, the armed robbers, whose numbers are yet to be confirmed, stormed the mobile money vendor’s shop, firing shots indiscriminately.
Patricia Nimako, who was unfortunately caught in the crossfire, sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The robbers, taking advantage of the chaos, made off with the loot, leaving behind a trail of destruction and grief.
The police have launched an investigation into the incident, but so far, no arrests have been made.
The Krofrom community is still reeling from the shock of the incident, with many residents expressing outrage and sadness at the senseless killing.
