Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Ghana for a two-day official visit from Wednesday, July 2, to Thursday, July 3, 2025.
According to a statement signed by the Minister of State in Charge of Government Communications, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, the visit underscores the strong and historic ties between Ghana and India.
During his stay, Prime Minister Modi will hold high-level bilateral talks with President John Dramani Mahama at the Jubilee House. The discussions will focus on expanding cooperation in key sectors such as trade, investment, agriculture, education, healthcare, technology, and energy.
As part of the visit, several bilateral agreements are expected to be signed to enhance frameworks for strategic collaboration. A joint press conference by both leaders will follow the signing ceremony.
Additionally, President Mahama will host a state dinner in honour of Prime Minister Modi and his delegation.
The visit is anticipated to deepen economic ties and reinforce diplomatic relations between the two nations.
