Meet 19-year-old Lucy Grant who needs help to undergo Kyphosis surgery

19-year-old Lucy Grant is a first-year student at Nyankumasi Ahenkro Senior High School who is suffering from Kyphosis.

Teachers and colleague students tout Lucy Grant as one of the brilliant students in the Business department at Nyankumasi Ahenkro SHS as she does not see her condition as a limitation to her academic potentials and future ambitions.

She dreams of becoming a Business Lawyer.

Narrating her situation, Lucy disclosed that she was born healthy but developed Kyphosis after she suffered several boils at her back when she was a child.

She recounts how her single mother struggles to take care of her schooling and hence cannot afford her medical bills for treatment of her condition.

She lost her father at age 11.

Although Lucy does not feel stigmatized, she said the severe pains at her back is unbearable.

Lucy Grant is appealing for financial support or sponsorship in order to undergo surgery to get rid of the Kyphosis.

She is calling on all stakeholders, health organizations, foundations, corporate institutions, philanthropists and the media to help Lucy undergo a surgery.

To donate toward Lucy’s surgery, contact Mr. Alfred Ennin on +233240838949 for details.
