Many Classes Under 1 Million Coders Programme Will Be Online – Sam George

The Minister for Communications, Digital Technology and Innovation, Sam George, has disclosed that many of the training sessions under the government’s 1 Million Coders Programme will be conducted online.

According to the Minister, the decision to make a significant portion of the programme virtual is to ensure wider access and participation across the country.

He explained that the online format will allow thousands of young Ghanaians to acquire digital and coding skills regardless of their location, as government works to build a strong digital workforce for the future.

The 1 Million Coders Programme forms part of government’s broader agenda to equip Ghanaian youth with critical technology and innovation skills to thrive in the digital economy.
