Ghanaian winger Kamaldeen Sulemana has completed his medicals ahead of a move from Southampton to Serie A side Atalanta.
The 23-year-old passed all physical checks, and the paperwork is now finalized, with an official announcement expected soon.
Atalanta will pay a total of £18.3 million (€21.5 million) for the former Stade Rennais star. The deal includes a £15 million (€17.5 million) base fee and £3.3 million (€4 million) in add-ons. Southampton also secured a 15% sell-on clause.
Sulemana will sign a four-year contract with an option for a fifth year. The transfer reunites him with his former manager Ivan Juric, who now leads Atalanta and pushed for the move.
The winger is reportedly excited about joining the Italian side and their long-term project.
Last season, Sulemana featured in 26 Premier League games for Southampton, scoring once. Despite his efforts, the club endured a dismal campaign, finishing bottom of the league with just 12 points from 38 matches.
