I’m confident in the competence of new Keta MCE – NPP Organizer

A Member of the Keta Municipal Assembly, Elikem Sewordor says he is confident in the competence of the newly confirmed Municipal Chief Executive, Godwin Edudzi Effah to deliver on his mandate.

Elikem Sewordor, who himself was sworn into office on Monday, as a government appointee, in accordance with Section 5(1)(d), of the Local Government Act, tells Awake News that, the MCE, Godwin Edudzi Effah has an enviable track record of performance as a leader.

“I am very confident that he [Godwin Edudzi Effah] will deliver per his track record and what I have seen at his previous workplace”.

“He is a very workaholic person who is ready to listen to all and sundry,” he said.

Mr. Sewordor shot down a purported discontent among some party folks over the appointment of Mr. Effah, saying the new MCE is a unifier and would bring everyone on board for the success of his job.

“My MCE is a unifier and I am sure that he will bring all along for the betterment of the Keta Municipal Assembly and the Constituency at large”.

Mr. Godwin Edudzi Effah secured an overwhelming endorsement from members of the Assembly, garnering a total of 28 ‘Yes’ votes out of 30.
