Kwame A Plus, has charged the Ghana Police Service to immediately stop harassing the youths and go out there and arrest armed robbers.

Angry A Plus can’t fathom why the police are after the youths instead of going after real armed robbers. He describes the activities of the police as unlawful and threatened to organize a demonstration against them.

[ads1]There have been several reports of the arrest of some young men who are believed to be engaged in cyber fraud. More sadly, the police without any search warrant would stop young men on the street and begin to search their pockets for mobiles and sometimes take their laptops because they believe every youth on the street might be involved in cyber fraud.

A Plus who seemed not enthused by these actions by the police has asked them to stop or face his anger.

In a Facebook post, A Plus wrote;

“These days people in police uniform stop young guys, search them and demand that they release their phones or laptops to them to go through. What is going on? I thought it’s unlawful to search people’s phones or computers without a court order? So why this?”.

“Whoever is doing this knows very well that what they are doing is unlawful yet you’re doing it. When Kwame A Plus talk norrr you’ll complain that I like talking. You want me to organise a youth demo in this country abi?”

“Armed robbers are not inside people’s phones or computers oooo!! Leave the unemployed young man alone. The people are suffering already you too you are giving them pressure Why???!!! Go out there and arrest armed robbers and stop this.”
