Social media reports this morning have claimed that the music legend Daddy Lumba, born Charles Kwadwo Fosuh has passed on at The Bank of Ghana Hospital.
The family has just issued a statement for that effect
Born on September 29, 1964, Lumba is a highly successful Ghanaian singer-songwriter and musician. He has a prolific career spanning three decades and has released approximately 34 albums. Daddy Lumba, who was once based in Cologne, Germany, is a multiple award-winning artist. He is a prominent figure in Ghanaian music.
