Ghana not at war tomorrow; withdraw the deployed military – NDC to Akufo-Addo

The General Secretary of the opposition National Democratic Congress, Fiifi Kwatey has raised red flag over alleged deployment of heavily armed ministry personnel to local communities ahead of tomorrow’s general elections.

In a statement issued a whiles ago, the biggest opposition party has urged the Commander-in-Chief of the Ghana Armed Forces, President Akufo-Addo to immediately order for the withdrawal of the Armed Forces from the local communities.

Mr. Kwatey said the ongoing Armed military with armour vehicles is unconstitutional and an act to intimidate voters.

He reminded the President that Ghanaian were assured some few days ago though the Inspector General of Police that the military will not be delayed during the elections and that can only be done upon the call by the National Elections Security Task Force led by the IGP.
