The Ghana Education Service (GES) has called on Form One SHS/SHTS Students, especially those in the double-track schools, to complete the remaining three weeks of their term through virtual learning, set to start on Monday, September 1, 2025, to Friday, September 19, 2025, on the Channel MoE TV, which is available on Multi TV
The programme, which was scheduled to be televised from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. each day within the stipulated days, was contained in a letter from the Ghana Education Service (GES), dated Friday, August 25, 2025, with reference number MyRef.No.GES/DD-G(MS)/28/25/635 and was signed on behalf of the Director General by the Ag. Deputy Director General, Prof. Smile Dzisi (Ms).
The letter further explained that nine weeks have been completed in school and that it has become necessary to complete the academic work for the remaining three weeks of the term through virtual learning. All students are encouraged to download the full set of curriculum resources and textbooks from the microsite: curriculumresource.edu.gh. The letter also noted that students should not panic as access to the site is completely data-free.
The Regional Directors of GES are therefore directed by the letter to communicate this arrangement to all Metro/Municipal/District Directors and Heads of Senior High Schools for onward dissemination to parents and students. Heads of schools should particularly ensure the Parent Teacher Associations (PTA) are duly informed so they can encourage their wards to prepare adequately and participate fully in the virtual learning.
The Virtual Learning for Senior High School Students on Channel MoE TV is an initiative by the Ghana Education Service (GES), with support from the Centre for National Distance Learning and Open Schooling (CENDLOS).
