TEIN Communication officer of Akenten Appiah -Menka University of Skills Training and Entrepreneurial Development (AAMUSTED) – Kumasi, Hon. Suuk Emmanuel has urged members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to be extremely vigilant in the forthcoming general elections. He said NDC must prevent any rigging attempts at Election 2024 at all cost.
According to him , the incumbent NPP government is on the mission to manipulate the Election 2024. He thus admonished the Leadership of NDC to remain vigilant and act fast against all NPP’s desperate tactics to win election 2024 at all cost.
Mr. Suuk disclosed that the NDC painfully lost the 2020 polls due to wide range of irregularities that characterized the elections.
He noted that despite the abysmal performance of NPP government over the past 8 years, it is evident that they are not ready to hand over power to the NDC to change the fortunes of the country.
According to Mr. Suuk, the NPP is bent on using misinformation campaigns and voter suppression tactics to ensure victory in the upcoming election.
He added that the NDC must not underestimate the momentum to which the NPP will go in order to secure another term in office.
“It is imperative that the leadership of the NDC remain vigilant, closely monitor the activities of the NPP, and respond swiftly to any attempts at election rigging or interference,” he stressed
“The future of our democracy is at stake. And it is essential that the NDC stand firm against any attempts to subvert the will of the people. We call on the leadership of the NDC to act decisively in defense of our democracy and the principles of free and fair elections”
“Now is not the time for complacency or hesitation. The NDC must act now to protect the integrity of the upcoming election and ensure that the voice of the people is heard loud and clear,” he declared.
He urged the rank and file of the party to carefully choose selfless party agents who are capable to represent the party on the election day.
