Ghanaian international footballer, Asamoah Gyan, has received an honorary doctorate from Alfred Noble University, a renowned educational institution in Ukraine.

Asamoah Gyan, 31 years old, was honoured for his outstanding leadership skills coupled with his other positive qualities.
He received his award in a colourful ceremony held on Saturday.
Other recipients of Alfred Nobel University doctorates include Chief executive officer of Taabea Group of Companies, Christian Akwasi Agyemang, Reverend Dr. Gifty Lamptey, Nana Kwaku Agyiri Aggrey and others.
