Samuel Abu Jinapor is now the caretaker minister for Trade and Industry.
A statement issued by the Director of Communications at the Presidency, Eugene Arhin on Friday, January 13, 2023 announces Ken Ofori-Atta’s replacement.
According to the presidency, Mr Jinapor’s appointment takes effect from Monday, January 16, 2023, pending the appointment of a substantive minister to replace the outgoing Alan Kwadwo Kyeremanten.
The President earlier asked the Minister for Finance, Mr Ken Ofori-Atta, to act as caretaker Minister at that particular Ministry until a substantive appointment was made.
The resignation letter of Mr Kyeremanten was submitted on Thursday evening (January 5, 2023) to the seat of government at the Jubilee House.
