Malik Basintale, Chief Executive Officer of the Youth Employment Agency (YEA), has successfully negotiated 600 remote job placements for Ghanaians through a new international employment partnership.
Each job, sourced from overseas firms, pays approximately $250 per week, the equivalent of GH₵2,575, and can be done entirely from Ghana.
The move offers young Ghanaians a unique opportunity to earn foreign income without needing to relocate.
Basintale made the announcement in a Facebook post as part of the agency’s latest strategy to create sustainable employment for the youth while tapping into the booming global remote work sector.
“These are not just any jobs. They are real, paying jobs that can be done remotely,” he stated. “You don’t need to travel. You stay here in Ghana and earn in dollars.”
The YEA boss has received praise online for delivering what many have described as tangible results in the fight against youth unemployment.
Some have even remarked that his performance rivals that of cabinet ministers, sparking conversations under the hashtag #AbanPapaAba, loosely translated as “a good government is here.”
Applicants interested in the opportunity are encouraged to follow YEA’s official channels for eligibility details and application procedures.
