The Black Stars continued their preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers with a second training session at the Accra Sports Stadium on Tuesday, March 18.
Ghana is set to play against Chad on Friday, March 21, as they work towards securing a spot in the tournament, which will be hosted by the USA, Canada, and Mexico.
The team began their camp on Monday, with nine players arriving early at their base, the Alisa Hotel. Among them were Mohammed Salisu, Kamaldeen Sulemana, Razak Simpson, Gideon Mensah, Jojo Wollacott, Antoine Semenyo, Benjamin Asare, Lawrence Ati-Zigi, and Kamaradini Mamudu.
Fourteen more players joined the squad shortly after, bringing the total to 23. Notable additions include Thomas Partey, Jordan Ayew, Alexander Djiku, and Inaki Williams.
To remain competitive in their group, the Black Stars are focused on winning this match to boost their chances of World Cup qualification.
