A 30 years old woman was found dead in Borowase, a suburb of Buipe in the Central Gonja of the newly created Savanna region in the early hours of today Tuesday under a circumstance that is bizarre.
Abena (the deceased) works in a popular restaurant called Sankwan inside Buipe and hails from Sunyani in the Brong Ahafo region.
A lady (name withheld) that Abena stays with at Buipe told Bole based Nkilgi FM that she and Abena closed from work yesterday night and went to sleep.
The lady told Nkilgi Fm that Abena later received a call and left the room and never returned.
Abena, according to the co-worker usually get up early every morning before every worker of the restaurant. She, therefore, knew Abena might have gone as usual to the restaurant only to get there to meet her absence.
She was therefore called by a young man to come and identify a woman that a crowd had gathered around with personnel from the Buipe divisional police only to see Abena lying dead with blood oozing from the nose and mouth.
Many are still in shocked and wondering what might have killed Abena.
The Buipe police are investigating the matter.
