We will complete ongoing road projects – Roads minister vows

Minister for Roads and Highways, Governs Kwame Agbodza, has reassured contractors working on the Ofankor-Nsawam highway that the government remains committed to completing ongoing road projects despite facing financial challenges.

During an inspection at Medea in the Ga West Municipality, Agbodza acknowledged the country’s economic difficulties but emphasized that infrastructure development is a top priority.

He confirmed that the president is dedicated to finishing every ongoing project as long as the necessary financing is available, with the support of the finance minister.

He referenced the recent economic forum, noting the country’s financial struggles but reaffirmed the government’s resolve to complete critical projects like the Ofankor-Nsawam highway.

Agbodza encouraged contractors and consultants to stay focused on their work as the government seeks to mobilize resources. Additionally, he assured workers that efforts are underway to secure funding solutions to address outstanding debts and ensure continued progress on key infrastructure projects across the country.
