Head Coach of Aduana Football Club, Aristică Cioabă, says his side has built momentum following their recent two consecutive victories in the league and the FA Cup.
The Dormaa-based club proved why they remain one of the favorites for the title this season, having bounced back from their poor run of games to seal two successive wins and two clean sheets over struggling Eleven Wonders with a 2-0 home victory and a 3-0 triumph over Techiman Liberty in the MTN FA Cup quarterfinal.
According to the Romanian gaffer, the urge to keep their impressive run is paramount, as they are not ready to drop points in their subsequent matches.
“We’ve built momentum with two wins and clean sheets, but that means nothing if we drop our standards now,” he told Aduana TV.
He stressed that their next game against Bechem United in the Ghana Premier League matchday 26 on Sunday, March 22, remains a tough one, adding that the poor performance of the Hunters even makes it dangerous.
Cioabă added that the team will prove more clinical and convert their chances, while they remain fully concentrated to finish the campaign on a high note.
“Bechem United may be struggling, but that makes them even more dangerous. We need full concentration from start to finish, and we must be clinical when our chances come,” he added.
Aduana Football Club are currently 4th in the league log with 41 points, five adrift of leaders Medeama SC with 46 points, as they travel to face Dreams FC in a cagey encounter.
