Vice President Attends Norvikporgbe Festival in Keta

Vice President Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang has arrived in Kedzi in the Volta Region to participate in the annual Norvikporgbe Festival, a cultural celebration and homecoming event for the people of the Keta Municipality.

The festival, which brings together natives and residents of the area, serves as a platform to promote unity, preserve cultural heritage, and strengthen community ties.
The Vice President is expected to join traditional leaders and residents in a series of activities marking the celebration, including cultural displays and community engagements.
The Norvikporgbe Festival is also used to reflect on the development of the area and to mobilise support for local initiatives aimed at improving livelihoods.
Her participation is seen as a demonstration of government’s recognition of the importance of cultural events in fostering national identity and community development.
