Two suspected armed robbers are in critical condition after they were shot by police officers in the Ashanti Region during an attempted robbery at the residence of a Court of Appeal Judge.

According to police sources, the incident occurred when the suspects allegedly attempted to break into the judge’s residence under suspicious circumstances.

Police officers who responded swiftly to the situation confronted the suspects, leading to an exchange during which the two suspects were shot.

The injured suspects were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital where they are currently receiving medical treatment under police guard.

The police have since commenced investigations into the incident to determine the circumstances surrounding the attempted robbery and to identify any accomplices who may have been involved.
