Three inmates from Nsawam Prisons graduate with first-class honours

Three inmates of the Nsawam Prisons have achieved the unthinkable by graduating from the University of Cape Coast with impressive first-class honours.

The graduands, Milluzieh Matthew, Mexo Prosper Kobla, and Konlanbik Fuseini Alidu, were among the proud graduands who received their degrees during the 57th Congregation of the University of Cape Coast’s College of Distance Education.

According to the University’s awards list, Milluzieh Matthew emerged as the overall best graduating student with a remarkable FGPA of 3.8. Mexo Prosper Kobla and Konlanbik Fuseini Alidu followed closely, earning Best Graduating Student awards with FGPAs of 3.7 and 3.6, respectively.

Their remarkable achievement is a testament to the transformative power of education and the human spirit’s capacity to overcome adversity.

Despite being incarcerated, these individuals demonstrated unwavering dedication to their academic pursuits, inspiring countless others with their story.
