Theresa Lardi Awuni, the former GIMPA TEIN Women Commissioners and a three-time Constituency Women’s Organiser of Okaikoi North Constituency has been declared the winner of yesterday’s Parliamentary Primaries elections of opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).
Madam Awuni secured 342 votes followed by Mr. Quashie with 220, Mr. Nasiru 179 and Mr. Malik 12 thus becoming the candidate for Okaikoi North Constituency going into the 2020 elections.
According to her in a thank, you message copied Awake News, said she is marching to victory for the NDC in 2020.
“I have spoken to my brothers – Hon. Richard Kwarshie Kudjordjie, Hon. Abdul Nasiru Abass and Hon. Malik Adama this morning, with unity of purpose and in the spirit of comradeship, we are marching to victory in 2020.”

Resounding appreciation to God Almighty for this victory.
I want to thank delegates of Okaikoi North Constituency – NDC, for honouring me with your vote.
