The Tertiary Education Institutions Network (TEIN) of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has held a seamless handing-over ceremony for its executives at FRANCO in Hohoe.
The event, supervised by party stakeholders, marked the transition from the outgoing executives to a newly elected leadership tasked with steering the affairs of the student wing on campus.
Addressing the gathering, the Volta regional youth organizer of the ruling National Democratic Congress, Mr Mathias Alagbo Kabila commended the outgoing executives for their dedication and volunteerism, which he said contributed significantly to the party’s success in reclaiming the Hohoe Parliamentary seat.
He noted that the commitment and sacrifices of TEIN members played a vital role in strengthening grassroots mobilisation and voter engagement within the constituency prior to the 2024 elections.
Mr Mathias, a deputy National organizer aspirant urged the newly sworn-in executives to intensify efforts at propagating the achievements and policies of the NDC on campus in order to grow membership and deepen political awareness among students.
He emphasised the importance of unity, discipline and active participation in party activities, stressing that a vibrant TEIN was crucial to national development and the party’s future electoral fortunes.
The ceremony was attended by party faithful, students and sympathisers who pledged their support to the new leadership as they assume office.
