The Students Loan Trust Fund (SLTF) has made a significant stride in supporting teacher trainees by clearing outstanding allowances for the 2023/2024 academic year.
A total of 65,685 students from 46 public Colleges of Education across Ghana have benefited from this disbursement, covering three months of arrears.
This development underscores the SLTF’s commitment to providing financial support to students pursuing tertiary education in Ghana.
According to the SLTF, this initiative aligns with the government’s reset agenda, focusing on bolstering support systems in the education sector and ensuring uninterrupted academic progress for the country’s future workforce.
The SLTF emphasized its dedication to delivering timely, transparent, and efficient financial support services to students, stating,
“The SLTF remains steadfast in our commitment to ensuring timely, transparent, and efficient financial support services delivery for the benefit of students.”
To prevent future delays, the Fund is implementing robust measures to guarantee consistency, reliability, and seamless execution of subsequent disbursements, strictly adhering to established policy directives.
