Mr. Alex Kwaku Tetteh, the founder of Citizen Eye Ghana, has passionately called on delegates to support Kennedy Agyapong, a hopeful candidate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer position, as the party prepares for its primaries in January next year.

He believes that Kennedy Agyapong is the strongest candidate to lead the party into the 2028 national elections.
Tetteh, who had previously expressed concerns about Agyapong and considered leaving his camp, stated that those issues have been resolved and reaffirmed his confidence in Agyapong’s leadership.
At a press conference held at the Jackson Institute of Technology Conference Hall in Accra on September 26, he urged delegates to back Kennedy Agyapong in the effort to regain power from the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the upcoming elections.
Tetteh emphasized that Agyapong has a clear vision for Ghana, particularly focusing on agriculture as a crucial element for revitalizing the economy.
He asserted that if Agyapong leads the country, it could see significant improvements through strategic investments in agribusiness, and that the press would play a vital role in national development during Agyapong’s presidency.
Additionally, Tetteh hinted at the potential return of prominent figures like Mr. Paul Afoko and Hon. Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen, who have previously distanced themselves from the party.
