SUNYANI TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY GETS A FEMALE TEIN PRESIDENT

Sunyani Technical University branch f the Tertiary Education Institutions Network for NDC as part of their transition process had their handing over on the weekends after an election that was held last week.

During the elections, a vibrant and dedicated found Lady who is in level 200 emerged the winner of the contest to become the first female TEIN [ads1]President for the institution.

Madam Aikins Faustina a level 200 student has been a dedicated TEIN member from her first day in the institution.

During the recent SRC elections, she joined the contest a week to the elections and lost with less than fifty votes. The students were not surprised with the surprises she polled at the SRC election only a week to the elections when she joined the race without resources.

This showed the organization skills and her massive dedication to whatever she does.

The handing over was graced by the Deputy Regional Communications officer and supported by the two deputy Youth Organizers Hon. Ayaaba John and Hon. Shoe.

Others present were the lectures in the institutions, regional communication team members and two Regional Youth Organizer hopefuls Hon. Bilal and Efo Worlanyo TSEKPO as well as a Deputy National Youth Organizer hopeful Hon. Sapane.

In his address Hon. Ayaaba John the deputy Regional Youth Organizer thanked the outgoing executives for their dedicated leadership and commitment to the activities of TEIN in the region and asked the new leadership to learn from their sacrifices by working towards a victorious 2020.

The newly sworn-in President in her speech thanked all those who have supported her in her quest and promised to energies TEIN in SUNYANI Technical University with the help of all from far and near.

She thanked the electorates for believing in her and promised not to disappoint them but work to lay a strong foundation for the victory we all seek to achieve in 2020.

The fluent, energetic and bold President spoke on how Nana Addo has disappointed students with high school fees, non payment of allowances for students and the deceit of DKM customers in the region and called for support for the TEIN in the region so that they can also join the crusade to strip Nana Addo’s government naked before the people of Ghana.
