Stage Actor Kwabena Yeboah of Roverman Productions passes away

Renowned stage actor Kwabena Yeboah, celebrated for his performances with Uncle Ebo Whyte’s Roverman Productions, has sadly passed away.

The news surfaced online on April 25, though the cause of death remains undisclosed. While Roverman Productions has yet to release an official statement, Kenneth Nii Saki Sackey from the company’s Communications Department quietly confirmed the loss via Facebook with a candle emoji.

Tributes have since flooded in from across Ghana’s creative arts community. Notably, George Quaye, CEO of Image Bureau, expressed his grief online:

“Unbelievable! KY! Rest well, bro! Deepest condolences to your family, Uncle Ebo Whyte, and the entire Roverman team!”

Kwabena Yeboah, an alumnus of Opoku Ware School and KNUST, was known for his dynamic roles in plays like “I Want to Feed You,” where he most recently played a pastor. His last Facebook post on January 26 reflected his passion for the craft:

“Things we do for work and passion,” he wrote alongside a photo of his new hairstyle.
