Spare Parts dealers cut prices as cedi strengthens under Mahama

The Abossey Okai Spare Parts Dealers Association has ordered its members to reduce prices. This follows the recent appreciation of the Ghana cedi under the new John Dramani Mahama administration.

The Association said the price cut will bring relief to customers and support the government’s economic recovery efforts.

Chairman Henry Okyere Jnr. praised the administration’s bold steps to stabilize the currency and the wider economy. “We fully support the government’s measures. We are ready to work together to keep the cedi strong and improve conditions for Ghanaians,” he said.

He urged members to comply strictly with the new pricing. The move, he noted, shows their commitment to fair pricing and market stability.

The Association believes lowering prices will ease consumer pressure and contribute to national recovery.
