Ghana’s biggest musician, Charles Nii Armah Mensah, aka Shatta Wale, has reportedly given the biological mother, Elsie Evelyn Avemegah a furnished 3-bedroom house in Accra.
Unusual for the loud musician, this gift was made with no noise, which has kept his fans applauding him.

The Kakai hitmaker pushed back against the claim, stating that he has provided her with cars and a comfortable home, even if he chooses not to broadcast it online.
Speaking during a live podcast on Saturday, May 24, 2025, the artiste addressed the criticism head-on.
“That mother you keep talking about, I’ve bought her cars, I’ve done things for her,” he said. “It’s just that not everything in life needs to go on the internet. You win some, you lose some.”
Shatta Wale noted that while some critics are quick to accuse him of neglect, those close to him are aware of his continued support for his mother.
