Shake-up at EC: Director of Electoral Services, Dr Serebour Quaicoe reassigned

A shake-up at the Electoral Commission has seen the reassignment of the Director of Electoral Services, Dr Serebour Quaicoe reassigned by Jean Mensa. The reshuffle was communicated in April with the new changes expected to take effect on July 1.

“I bring you warm greetings from the Head Office and trust this letter finds you well.

“I am pleased to inform you of the Commission’s decision to appoint you, Director for Training at the Head Office,” part of the Jean Mensa signed letter stated.

“In this regard, you are by this letter transferred from the Electoral Services Department as the Director to head the Training Department,” the letter continued.

Dr Serebour Quaicoe has been instructed hand over the Commission’s property in in his possession and take over at his new position by July 1, 2024.

“We trust that you will work with Management to ensure excellence in the activities of the Training Department and the Commission as a whole,” the letter concluded.

No reasons have been given for the reassignment especially with barely six months to the elections.
