David Tameklo, Editor of WhatsUp Newspaper

David Tameklo, the Managing Editor of a digital newspaper, WhatsUp News has this afternoon picked up by official from the Ghana Police Service at his office in Tesano, Accra.

According to reports the Editor has been arrested with e bench issued by the New Edubiase Court in the Ashanti Region over a publication had made in July 2020 concerning the just ended new voters registration exercise.

Mr. Tameklo was said to have first been sent to the Tesano Police Station and have been transferred later this evening to New Edubiase to probably face court tomorrow.

According source close to the Editor who is also the Vice President of Print and Online Publishers Association of Ghana, this is the publication that has handed him in the trouble:
