A 90year old woman has been lynched by a mob at Kafaba in the East Gonja District of the Savana Region over allegations that she is a witch.
The woman, now deceased was accused by a soothsayer as a witch.
According to an eye witness, the town of Kafaba is said to be retrogressing hence the decision to bring the soothsayer who could diagnose the problem.
They said upon the arrival of the soothsayer who is also a woman, she mentioned the 90year old decease as the one behind the underdevelopment of the town hence the decision of residents to beat the woman.
The body has been sent to the District Police Command.
