Saint Kitts and Nevis Prime Minister Plants ‘Tree of Life’ at Jubilee House

The Prime Minister of Saint Kitts and Nevis, Terrance Drew, on Wednesday planted a ceremonial tree at the Presidential Garden following bilateral discussions with Ghana’s President, John Dramani Mahama.

The tree, referred to as the “Tree of Life,” symbolises the strengthening friendship and growing cooperation between Ghana and Saint Kitts and Nevis.

The symbolic gesture formed part of activities marking the Prime Minister’s official engagement at the Presidency, aimed at deepening diplomatic ties and exploring areas of mutual interest between the two countries.

Officials said the planting of the tree reflects the shared commitment of both nations to nurturing a long-term partnership grounded in solidarity, development cooperation, and cultural connection.

The meeting between President Mahama and Prime Minister Drew focused on strengthening bilateral relations and expanding collaboration in key sectors that would benefit both countries.

The “Tree of Life” now stands in the Presidential Garden as a lasting symbol of the cordial relations and renewed partnership between Ghana and Saint Kitts and Nevis.
