Report Dampare to OSP if you have evidence against him – Bonaa tells Alex Mensah

Security analyst Adam Bonaa has urged the COP, rtd. George Alex Mensah, to refer the Inspector General of Police, George Akufo-Addo Dampare, to the Office of the Special Prosecutor if he has credible proof of alleged money sharing against his bid to run the NPP parliamentary primaries.

The former Commissioner of Police, George Alex Mensah, recently accused the Inspector General of Police, Dr. George Akufo-Addo Dampare, of allegedly swaying delegates to vote heavily against him in the incumbent NPP’s parliamentary primaries.

COP Rtd. George Alex Mensah was recently caught red-handed on a leaked tape plotting and conspiring with two other senior officers and former NPP Northern Regional Chairman Bugri Naabu to remove Dampare from his position.

Meanwhile, a leaked report from the committee that buzzed on social media cleared the IGP of all frivolous allegations, thus indicting senior police officers and calling for further probe and prosecution.

In the view of the parliamentary candidate hopeful for Bekwai in the Ashanti region, there are rumors making the rounds that the Inspector General of Police is allegedly using money to induce and influence delegates to vote massively against his bid.

In an interview, Adam Bonaa, who is a security analyst, disclosed that he will not be flabbergasted by the angle Mr. Mensah is trading on in relation to the demands he was making in the said leaked tape.

“The Special Prosecutor arrested the CEO of the NEIP for allegedly sharing money with some people, and I don’t know if that issue has been resolved. So as a senior police officer who is retired and gunning to be the parliamentary candidate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Bekwai area, you know what to do.

“Naa Dedei asked him,” Do you have any evidence? He said, ‘I have the proof. If you have the proof, what do you do? You go to the Special Prosecutor or show the proof. If you just say I have the proof and you don’t share the proof, you go on this tangent. For me, it doesn’t surprise me because what they attempted to do was subvert the will of the people and go on and on,” Dr. Bonaa stressed.
