Rawlings NEVER said NDC will not win 2020 – Efo Worlanyo cries

The Bono Regional Youth Organizer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Efo Worlanyo Tsekpo has warned members of the NDC to be watchful of what he describes as the scary media agenda on Rawlings against the party.

The vociferous youth leader in a statement has dismissed media reports that the founder of the Party, former President Rawlings has stated that the NDC can never win the 2020 election but 2024.

According to him, in the statement copied Awake News, “I just had a confirmation from Hon. MAVIS Afia Adjei the constituency women organizer for Jaman North in the Bono Region who was at the meeting in Kumasi.” and  “She said Rawlings never made such a statement that NDC will not win 2020 but 2024.”

“She also said Rawlings was emphatic that though 2020 won’t be an easy battle and that he still sees some people in NDC who has 2024 agenda instead of 2020 but if we work hard we can take power from the NPP.” – He clarifies

“According to her Rawlings was saddened about how corruption has engulfed the country while corrupt people are still at post.” – he added

LET’S BE WATCHFUL, THE MEDIA AGENDA ON RAWLINGS AGAINST THE PARTY IS SCARY!!!

I just had a confirmation from Hon. MAVIS Afia Adjei the constituency women organizer for Jaman North in the Bono Region who was at the meeting in Kumasi.

1. She said Rawlings never made such a statement that NDC will not win 2020 but 2024.

2. She also said Rawlings was emphatic that though 2020 won’t be an easy battle he still see some people in NDC who has 2024 agenda instead of 2020 but if we work hard we can take power from the NPP.

3. According to her Rawlings was saddened about how corruption has engulfed the country while corrupt people are still at post.

4. He was also saddened about the Change of the holiday that was supposed to honor Dr. Kwame Nkrumah the founder of Ghana.

5. The meeting was cadres retreat that sought to encourage our cadres to work hard to bring the spirit of probity, accountability and social justice back to discipline us as a family which is the only way we can stand the NPP come 2020.

The question now is, why has the media decided to turn the coin?

Let’s not forget this same TV3 made a news item in 2018 with the same headline.

The media has an agenda to create problems for us and we must be watchful and mindful not to be carried away to turn our guns on our own.

Have a great weekend.
