PUSAG grabs multiple Awards at just ended GIMUN Conference

The Private Universities students Association of Ghana, (PUSAG) has won multiple awards at the Ghana International Model United Nations (GIMUN), which was held at the University of Ghana on Saturday, January 4, 2020.

The GIMUN is a model of the United Nations which seeks to engage students on issues of international relations and diplomacy.

The Private Universities Students Association of Ghana’s delegation was led by the director of International Relations Hon. Obeng Sika Aborampa Junior. The delegation swooped three awards.

Best Delegate (ECOFIN Committee)
-Albert Owusu Bempah, SRC President of Spiritan UC

Overall Best Delegate (Tertiary)
– Albert Owusu Bempah, SRC President of Spiritan UC

Honourable Mention UNFPA Committee
– Christabel Odonkor, SRC GS AUCC

Goodwill Message of PUSAG PRESIDENT
The PUSAG President was asked to deliver a goodwill message to all the delegates present. In his speech to the delegates, the President of Private Universities students Association of Ghana (PUSAG), H.E Alswel O. Annan applauded the delegate for their commitment and strong will of representation and interest in diplomacy.

He further called on student leaders to actively participate in events like GIMUN to help them appreciate the importance and relevance of international relations and diplomacy.
