Prime Minister of Saint Kitts and Nevis Begins Official Visit to Ghana

The Prime Minister of Saint Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrance Michael Drew, will undertake an official visit to Ghana from Tuesday, March 3 to Saturday, March 7, 2026.

A statement issued by the Presidency of Ghana and signed by Felix Kwakye Ofosu, Spokesperson to the President and Minister of Government Communications, said the visit forms part of efforts to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries.

During the visit, Prime Minister Drew will attend Ghana’s 69th Independence Day celebration on Friday, March 6.

The statement said the Prime Minister and his delegation would begin their official schedule on Wednesday with a meeting with the Vice Chancellor of the University of Ghana. He will later be hosted at the Presidency for bilateral discussions and an official luncheon.

Dr Drew is also expected to visit the W.E.B. Du Bois Memorial Centre for Pan-African Culture, the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park and the Cape Coast Castle.

He will further pay a courtesy call on Osabarimba Kwesi Atta II, Omanhene of the Oguaa Traditional Area.

Ghana and Saint Kitts and Nevis have been strengthening bilateral relations through South-South cooperation, focusing on exchange programmes in education, health, trade, investment and technology.
