President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has nominated Mrs Jean Aukwei Mensa as the Chairperson for the Electoral Commission.
He has appointed two persons to fill the vacancy created by the two dismissed deputy commissioners and a member of the commission, despite some lawsuits challenging the removal of Charlotte Osei from office.
The two deputies appointed are Samuel Tettey and Eric Asare Bossman.
The other member appointed to the commission is Ms Adwoa Asuama Abrefa which follows the retirement of Mrs Pauline Dadzawa on Monday, April 30, 2018.
