President Akufo-Addo swears in 24 new ministers

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo last night swore in 24 new Ministers and Deputies.

President Akufo-Addo oversaw the ceremony at the Jubilee House, where he administered the Oaths of Office, Secrecy and Allegiance.

The new are Ministers Lydia Seyram Alhassan for Sanitation and Water Resources, Mrs. Abena Osei-Asare as a Minister of State for the Ministry of Finance and Andrew Kofi Egyapa Mercer Minister for Tourism, Art and Culture.

Martin Kwaku Adjei-Mensah Korsah will head the Local Government, Rural Development and Decentralisation Ministry and Fatimatu Abubakar will take over as Minister for Information while
Ophelia Mensah Hayford leads the Environmental, Science, Technology, and Innovation Ministry.

Nii Kwartei Titus Glover is the Regional Minister for Greater Accra, Darkoa Newman becomes the new Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection and Dr. Bernard Okoe-Boye, the Minister for Health while Daniel Machator is the Oti Regional Minister.

The 14 Deputy Ministers include Dr. Benjamin Sekyere Yeboah for Gender, Children and Social Protection; Sylvester Tetteh, Deputy Minister for Information; Collins Adomako Mensah, Deputy Minister for Energy and Charles Acheampong, Deputy Minister for Communications and Digitisation.

Others are Adelaide Ntim, Deputy Minister for Health; Alexander Akwasi Acquah Deputy Minister for Health; Dr. Prince Hamidu Armah, Deputy Minister for Works and Housing; Vincent Ekow Assafuah Deputy Minister for Local Government, Rural Development and Decentralisation and John Kobina Abbam Aboah Sanie, Deputy Minister for Energy.

The rest are Professor Kingsley Nyarko, Deputy Minister for Education; Dr Festus Awuah Kwofie, Deputy Minister for Employment, Labour Relations and Pensions; Akwasi Konadu, Deputy Minister for Lands and Natural Resources; Musah Abdul Aziz Ayaba, Deputy Minister for Fisheries and Aquaculture Development and Dr Alexander Ampaabeng, Deputy Minister for Finance.
