The Eastern Regional police command has begun an investigation into a robbery incident at Pramkese in the Kwaebibirem district which led to the death of officer Corporal Moses Nartey.

The report suggests the armed robbers had blocked the road to Robb travelers.
However, the now-deceased Corporal Moses Nartey together with his colleague arrived at the scene in a taxi in an attempt to foil the robbery.
They were met with gunshots from the armed robbers and Corporal Moses Nartey got shot twice in his head and his chest which ultimately led to his death.
His other colleague sustained gunshot wounds in his thighs are is currently receiving medical care at the hospital.
