The Odumase-Krobo Police Command has begun investigation into how a young girl believed to be in her early 20s was found dead in a gutter at Agormanya in the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality on Sunday, June 23, 2019.
The lifeless body whose name has been given as Sandra and a native of Agormanya, was seen lying a chocked in the gutter at Agormanya a suburb of the municipality in the early hours of Sunday.
It is unclear the cause of her death but was found almost naked in the said incident which could possibly raise an alleged rape issue.
Police has since, deposited the body at the Atua Government Mortuary pending authorpsy.
