The Ghana Police Service has arrested 10 suspects involved in a disturbing viral video showing the physical abuse of two young women in Dawuranpong.

The suspects, aged between 18 and 32, were apprehended by the IGP’s Special Cyber Vetting and Enforcement Team for their roles in the incident.
Three suspects, Eric Donkor (32), Yaw Gyimah (29), and Edmond Nartey (24), were directly involved in cutting the women’s scalps with a sharp razor. Another suspect, Tawiah @ Awaga, who was also seen inflicting cuts, is currently on the run.
The police have pledged to provide the necessary support to the victims and are working to track down the remaining suspect. The arrested individuals will face prosecution upon completion of investigations.
