PHOTOS: Idris Elba meets President Mahama at the Jubilee House

On a piece of beachfront land next to the Osu Castle in Accra, the capital, renowned British actor and filmmaker Idris Elba has suggested a collaboration with the government to build an ultra-modern film and creative community.

The project intends to revitalize the film industry while training and employing creatives.

Idris Elba, who is now in Ghana, met with President John Mahama at the Jubilee House and pledged to support African stories and bring the film industry back to Africa.
